What would happen if you shot a high powered laser (like the ones they cut steel with) at a mirror? would the laser bounce back and destroy the laser device? Or would the laser destroy the mirror?
The problem is not simple and ‘depends’
A laser beam would ‘Reflect’ on the mirror. Reflection has rules, and the beam could not ‘return’ from were it came, unless you impact the mirror surface in an exact angle. And that have not a practical use.
The laser has and amount of energy and you will need a mirror that could absorb the ‘refraction’ part of the energy. When a beam impact on a mirror part of the energy reflect and part refract. The refraction part would heat the mirror, if that amount is huge and the mirror couldn’t dissipate, the mirror will melt, sooner or later.
Finally if you make the beam inside back to the laser device and the beam has the proper amount of energy, the beam could destroy the device.
There are not practical use of this and is very hard to prepare ‘the mirrors’-
In fact, big lasers has two mirrors and the end of a cavity where the light come and go before the beam has enough energy to abandon the cavity. This kind is called pumped laser. A small beam of light is ‘amplified’ several time in a ‘resonant’ cavity with a mirror in one end and a half-mirror in the other end. The half-mirror is prepared in a way that when the beam has enoght energy, the beam would not reflect again, it would pass ‘along the half-mirror’ aouside the cavity.
That is way is called LASER (Light Amplification by Stimulated Emitted Radiation). Mirrors are inclueded on the LASER device, unless you use Semiconducotrs like Laser Diodes, that operates in a diferent way
I will also require the die cut machine and other consumables can you provide them and how much will they cost?
What size of tesline paper do you provide?
Do you provide already cut tesline the size of ordinary PVC card?
www.poisonid.com - great prices on pre-cut teslin sheets and laminate sheets
How does it work?
1. You design an item on your computer
2. email of fax it to lovebites and bruises with engravings etc. on lucite, acrylic, plastic, plexiglass etc. together with engravings and crystals of your choice!
3. they laser cut it and mail it to you.
