How does a laser cutter work?

Is it possible to use it in your house?
How do you trace and cut the picture exactly?
Do you control it or does the machine do it by itself?
So many questions…

We have laser machines to engrave photos into crystals. It is not exactly cutting, but the principle is the same.

To have precise cutting or engraving, you need computer control. Without computer control, cutting is possible, but it will not be pretty. Engraving is impossible without computer control, since you need to arrange millions of dots together to form the photo.

For laser cutting, you essentially heat the metal (or whatever you are cutting) to vaporize it. For laser crystal engraving that we do, the laser beam is focused inside a crystal, where its intensity is strong enough to cause a structure change. The surface is not changed because the laser is not focused there.

does any one know if it is hard to laser cut pepakura flies out because im just getting tired of spending hours cutting them out via exacto knife

How can i replace my laser cut honda civic key?

i last both of the laser cut keys to my 2003 honda civic. Is there any place that will cut the keys with out having the car there like by using the VIN. and about how much?

Most locksmiths/key places won’t have the special equipment to cut and then program those keys to the car. See the dealer’s parts department for keys.

Can Xyron Adhesive Dot Transfer Sheets be used to cut cloth on Cricut Machines?

This is the information about the transfer sheets.

Uniform edge-to-edge adhesive for die and laser cuts. The adhesive is dot patterned and breaks appropriately so there are no glue strings hanging in cutout areas. The top mask with the glue from the cutout areas still intact can be set aside for later use. Dot pattern adhesive has a longer shelf life and does not yellow over time when applied to items. Acid free.
4 Sheets, 3.5" x 4"
These samll sheets of adhesive are wonderful for adhering die cust, aplhabets, or other small items with odd shapes. They create instant stickers. Peel back the top layer of film and lay your die cut face up on the bottom layer. Pres the Top layer back down to spread adhesive on back of Die cut. Peel top layer and pick up die cut. Your die cut will have dots on backside and be permanetly adhered to your Project.

I just watched the commercial on this last night and the answer would be yes
